On behalf of all the children, staff, and trustees, it is my great pleasure to warmly welcome you to the Hawes Side Academy website.
Hawes Side Academy is a larger-than-average primary school located in the South Shore area of Blackpool. Originally opened on 12th January 1937, the school transitioned to academy status in September 2012. In the 2015-16 academic year, we were fortunate to be part of the Priority Schools Building Programme, and in November 2016, we proudly moved into our state-of-the-art facilities. For nearly 90 years, Hawes Side Academy has been a cornerstone of the local community, earning a well-deserved reputation for providing a high-quality and well-rounded education to children in the South Shore area of Blackpool.

Our core values underpin everything we do, with our vision guiding and shaping every aspect of school life. Webelieve that every child deserves the best opportunities to grow and succeed.
