As a team we are committed to working toward the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA).
We will endeavour to do this with our core values at the heart.
LPPA
What is LPPA?
LPPA is all about developing positive relationships and will support us to deliver outstanding engagement with our families. It is also aimed at supporting us to achieve the following long-term benefits:
-
contribute to improved pupil attendance, punctuality, behaviour and progress
-
increase parent participation and involvement
-
enhance parents’ support in their children’s learning
-
improve communication between home and school
LPPA is a national award that will provide us with formal recognition of our joint success.
Benefits of the LPPA
The award will help us to continually improve our partnership with parents and carers.
Increasing parental participation in school life is linked to improved pupil progress, punctuality, attendance and behaviour and improved outcomes in all aspects of school life.
Already the process has identified areas where we are doing well and areas where we believe we can improve. There is always room for improvement!
LPPA Timeframe
A working committee of different members of the academy team, including senior leaders, will actively working together and with you to evidence our success.
The award will take 12 to 18 months to complete, and the academy must evaluate and evidence progress and achievement against specific core objectives to gain the award.
We cannot achieve this award alone and will be asking for your involvement and feedback as we progress and we will be keeping you updated via this web page.
