In today’s PE lesson, the children continued to build on the coordination skills they have been developing, especially when throwing towards a target. They showed great focus and determination as they practised aiming carefully and controlling their movements. It was wonderful to see their confidence growing as they improved their accuracy.

This week, the children were challenged to use a racket and throw a beanbag over the bib (which acted as a net) to their partner, who balanced it on their racket. This activity encouraged teamwork, communication and perseverance, and the children worked brilliantly together.

They also practised adjusting the strength and direction of their throws to help their partner succeed. Many children demonstrated fantastic resilience, trying again when things did not go to plan. Well done to everyone for their positive attitudes and excellent effort throughout the lesson!
