Last week, year 3 investigated how fossils were formed. They discovered how fossils are formed from the initial animal death straight through to the formation of a fossil under pressurised sedimentary rocks over thousands of years.
In 3S, the children attempted to create their own fossils using playdough, latex glue and shells. They all enjoyed the messy learning and managed to successfully make a shell fossil to take home. Well done 3S!
