Here at Hawes Side Academy, we love celebrating our community spirit, and this year, we’re thrilled to bring back our Switch On Event for an afternoon of creativity, entertainment, and illuminations! This exciting event is all about bringing together pupils, families, and local businesses for a spectacular showcase of talent and fun.

On Friday, 15th November at 3:30 PM, join us for an unforgettable evening featuring:

  • Live Performances – Be captivated by the incredible talent of our pupils and local performers, showcasing music, dance, and arts that are sure to impress.
  • Art Exhibits – Take a moment to admire the creative work from our children, a true reflection of the artistic spirit within our school.
  • Local Stalls – Shop at a variety of stalls featuring local crafts, gifts, and goodies – perfect for picking up early holiday presents!
  • Delicious Refreshments – Enjoy a selection of tasty treats and beverages throughout the evening.
  • Light Ups & Festivities – As the night draws in, experience the magic of our Switch On moment, with a dazzling display that will light up the night!

Interested in running a stall at our event?

We are looking for more stallholders to take part! If you run a local business, sell handmade crafts, or offer festive items, we’d love to have you join our stalls for just £10. Interested in being a part of our event? Contact us to reserve your stall before the 8th November.
