Last week, the Foundation Stage visited the postbox. In class they had been working hard to write cards to their adults.

They stuck their stamps on the envelopes and explored the local area on the way to post their cards.

The children noticed the numbers in their environment and on the doors, road signs and  road markings.

They even had the opportunity to discuss the role of the crossing patrol and why they were important.
